All estimates provided by Antioch Concrete are based on information available at the time of the on-site assessment. Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated.
Estimates may change if site conditions differ materially from those observed during the initial assessment, if the scope of work is modified at the client's request, or if material costs change significantly between the estimate date and the project start date. Any change to the estimate will be communicated in writing before additional work is performed.
Verbal estimates are not binding. Only written proposals signed by both parties constitute an agreement to perform work at the stated price.
Project scheduling is confirmed upon receipt of any required deposit as specified in the written proposal. Start dates are estimates and may be affected by weather, permit processing times, material availability, or prior project completion.
Clients wishing to cancel a scheduled project must notify Antioch Concretein writing at least 5 business days before the confirmed start date. Deposits may be non-refundable if cancellation occurs after materials have been ordered or significant scheduling commitments have been made on the client's behalf.
Antioch Concrete reserves the right to reschedule projects delayed by weather or circumstances beyond our control. We will notify clients of any rescheduling as promptly as possible.
Payment terms are specified in each written proposal. In general, a deposit is required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion. Final payment is due within 5 business days of project completion unless a different schedule is specified in writing.

Antioch Concrete will obtain all permits required for the contracted scope of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Permit fees are the responsibility of the client and will be included in the written proposal. Clients are responsible for ensuring that any HOA approvals or private easement clearances required for the project are obtained before work begins. Delays caused by permit processing or HOA review are outside our control and do not constitute a breach of contract.
Clients agree to:
Antioch Concrete warrants that all work will be performed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards and applicable California building codes. Concrete is a natural material subject to minor surface cracking, color variation, and texture differences that do not constitute defects. Control joints are installed to direct inevitable shrinkage cracking to predictable locations.
Structural defects in workmanship — meaning cracks or failures caused by improper sub-base preparation, inadequate reinforcement, or incorrect mix design attributable to our work — will be repaired at no charge for a period of one (1) year from the date of project completion, provided the client has followed all post-installation care instructions.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by tree roots, vehicle loads exceeding the design specification, improper sealing or maintenance by the client, ground movement from earthquakes or flooding, or modifications made to the concrete by parties other than Antioch Concrete.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Antioch Concrete's total liability to any client for any claim arising out of or related to services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
Antioch Concrete shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of use of property, or costs of substitute services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of consequential damages; in such cases this limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
This website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis for informational purposes only. Antioch Concrete makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of website content for any particular purpose. We reserve the right to correct errors or update information at any time without notice.
In the event of a dispute arising from services provided by Antioch Concrete, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation is unsuccessful within 30 days, either party may pursue mediation through a mutually agreed mediator before initiating formal legal proceedings.
Nothing in this section limits either party's right to seek injunctive relief or enforce a mechanic's lien through the courts. The prevailing party in any legal action shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney's fees and costs to the extent permitted by California law.
These Terms and Conditions, and any disputes arising from them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Contra Costa County, California, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Antioch Concrete reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Modifications take effect when posted to this page with an updated effective date. For services already in progress under a signed written proposal, the Terms in effect at the time of signing govern that engagement unless both parties agree in writing to different terms.
